Dr. David Abraham received an Honours BSc in Life Sciences degree from McMaster University, followed by his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Toronto. He is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and the Ontario Dental Association. Dr. Abraham prides himself in creating genuine connections with his patients and takes a comprehensive approach to their care. He creates a warm and welcoming environment, ensuring a calm and comfortable dental experience. Dr. Abraham is committed to staying at the forefront of dental advancements and continually engages in the latest research and developments. In 2022, Dr. Abraham partook in a dental outreach mission to Grenada, where he had the opportunity to help many underserved individuals, and he plans to continue his dental volunteer work. In his spare time, he enjoys playing and watching sports, travelling, and experimenting with new recipes.

Matthew is a proud local of Toronto’s St. Clair West community, bringing both passion and hometown pride to his work. He is absolutely meticulous in the detailed work he does for all of his patients. With a rich heritage of Italian and Jamaican roots, he combines a warm, approachable nature with a strong commitment to patient care. Matthew completed his training at George Brown College, graduating from the Denturist program, and is dedicated to helping patients feel confident and comfortable with their smiles.

Melissa has an undeniable passion for Latin tunes that truly complements her vibrant spirit. Travelling is another one of Melissa’s great passions, embracing different cultures and cuisines around the globe. What truly sets Melissa apart is her big heart. She embodies kindness and generosity and is always willing to lend a helping hand to those who need it. Whether it’s in her part-time role at the local hospital, where she contributes to the well-being of others, or during her hours at Sparkleen, Melissa’s dedication shines through. With over a decade of experience in the dental field, Melissa has honed her skills and expertise, becoming a seasoned professional who takes pride in her work. Her commitment to excellence and passion for dental care have made her a valuable asset.

Gabriela is a fast learner with a creative touch, bringing her love for organizing and supporting patients into everything she does. She keeps the positive energy high at the office to brighten everyone’s day. Known for her warm and friendly personality, she enjoys creating a welcoming environment for both patients and coworkers. When she’s not at work, she loves spending time honing her skills as a makeup enthusiast with her nieces and nephews, making memories and sharing laughter. One of her passions is for people, and her positive energy makes her a great addition to the Sparkleen Dental family.

When not hard at work at the clinic, Marcela enjoys working out at the gym and spending quality time with her family. An avid wine connoisseur, she absolutely loves her summer trips to Ontario vineyards and can appreciate a perfect red wine. Her vast experience in pediatric dentistry is most beneficial to the many children we treat at Sparkleen Dental. She truly enjoys educating them about teeth and gum health early on. It’s always been a priority for Marcela to really connect with her patients, no matter their age, helping them reach their healthcare goals. She’s well known for taking extra time for those who need a little extra T.L.C. with her patience, kindness, and compassion.

Loida is an avid animal lover of both cats and dogs and is the proud owner of both. When not at work, she can usually be found near the office at her local hot yoga studio or checking out trendy restaurants and cafes in the St. Clair West area to dine. She absolutely loves hitting the road to enjoy the great outdoors in her downtime. Loida has a unique and highly valued holistic approach to dental hygiene, which her patients appreciate. Need a warm blanket or a nice hot towel at the end of your treatment? She’s definitely a patient favourite here at the clinic. Well-known for her follow-up calls to patients after their treatments, you can be sure you’ll always get the five-star treatment from her!

Patients adore Dawn for more than just her exceptional dental hygiene skills. Her warm and compassionate personality creates an inviting atmosphere that instantly puts people at ease. Known for her keen attention to detail, Dawn approaches every patient with a meticulousness that ensures thorough care without ever feeling rushed. For Dawn, dentistry is much more than simply a profession; it’s a passion that is evident in the way she treats each patient with respect and individualized attention. When not chair-side, you might catch her playing reggae tunes in the background—a reflection of her artistic spirit and dedication to creating a relaxed environment for everyone.

Armash is a vibrant and personable dental assistant who brings warmth and energy to the clinic. A self-proclaimed coffee connoisseur, she loves starting her day with a perfect cup of coffee before diving into her busy schedule. As someone who thrives on staying active and engaged, she is always on the go and enjoys exploring new places. Although she can be shy at first, patients quickly discover her approachable nature and friendly demeanour, making conversations with her easy and enjoyable. Her genuine care for others and cheerful personality help put patients at ease, ensuring every visit is a positive experience. Fun fact: she has an identical twin!

Nana brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our team at Sparkleen Dental. With a Bachelor of Science in Dentistry and certification as a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2020, she is passionate about providing top-tier patient care. Known for her meticulous attention to detail and warm approach, Nana is committed to ensuring every patient receives the highest quality care. She values the importance of building strong patient relationships and takes pride in helping people achieve healthier, more confident smiles. As a true team player, she thrives in our collaborative environment, always bringing positivity and dedication to her work. Outside of the clinic, Nana has a deep love for travel and enjoys exploring new cultures.
